5-year time limit in Scotland
Claims relating to flights departing Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Inverness, and other Scottish airports must be brought within 5 years, one year shorter than the 6-year limit that applies in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. This is due to a different underlying contract law limitation period in Scotland.
Everything else is the same
- £220 for flights under 1,500km delayed 3+ hours
- £350 for flights 1,500-3,500km
- £520 for flights over 3,500km delayed 4+ hours
