Flying Turkish Airlines to or from the UK? Learn when you're covered by UK261 for delays and cancellations, and how much you could claim.
Turkish Airlines flights departing UK airports are covered by UK261 regardless of where they're headed. Flights arriving in the UK from Istanbul on Turkish Airlines are not automatically covered in the same way, since Turkish Airlines is a non-UK, non-EU carrier, so coverage depends on the direction of travel.

- Departing a UK airport on Turkish Airlines: always covered under UK261
- Arriving in the UK from Istanbul on Turkish Airlines: not covered by UK261, since the airline isn't UK or EU registered

- £350 for flights 1,500-3,500km
